Overview
Pair your interest in business with the perfect platform to explore your curiosity of sciences. A double degree extends your knowledge but also extends your employment opportunities – benefit from an increased portfolio of job prospects once you graduate.
With a diverse range of majors to select from the Bachelor of Business as well as the Bachelor of Science, you’ll be able to combine and discover areas you may not have considered.
You will have the opportunity to shape your degree to suit where you want to go in life. Choose from majors within Business, such as Emergent Leadership, Finance or Marketing. Combine with an extensive list of majors from the Bachelor of Science, from Animal Science, Computing, and Human Physiology to Physics, Psychology or Plant Agricultural Science.
Benefit from UniSQ’s close ties with industry, and have the opportunity to complete a course (subject) of professional work experience where you’ll work with an organisation to complete a project.
Study a double degree as it takes less time than doing the degrees separately, can save you time and money, and you graduate with two testamurs (official certificates) for each of your degrees.
Professional accreditation
The Human Resource Management major within the Bachelor of Business is accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and meets the educational requirements for professional membership of AHRI.
Both the Bachelor of Science (Psychology) and Bachelor of Science (Psychology Extended) majors are fully accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council as a three-year sequence of study.
The Bachelor of Science (Information Technology) major is accredited at professional level by the Australian Computer Society and, through the Seoul Accord, is recognised in other countries.
Career outcomes
With a double degree, your career opportunities are extensive and vary widely depending on your chosen majors. You’ll be ready to take on roles in scientific practice combined with business management within the government, regulatory, health, IT and research sectors.
