Apply the principles and technical knowledge of engineering and use the current tools and techniques to solve engineering problems

Use mathematical tools and techniques to achieve appropriate solutions to engineering problems

Critically investigate a problem for the purpose of formulating and evaluating an appropriate, effective engineering solutions

Evaluate information to review, assess and suggest improvements to plans and processes

Demonstrate an awareness of social, cultural and environmental issues when solving engineering problems and abide by the professional and ethical requirements mandated by Engineers Australia

Communicate technical information orally, in writing and/or by drawings to both technical and non-technical audiences clearly and concisely

Collaborate and contribute effectively as both a team leader and a team member to achieve team goals

Develop and test novel, logical solutions for problems and risks relevant to industrial engineering
