What you'll learn

• Complete the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services required curriculum to become eligibility to write the security guard test and apply for licensing. (Optional provincial private investigator curriculum and test eligibility also offered).
• Explore techniques relevant to physical and cyber security risks and challenges.
• Understand the steps in various forms of investigations.
• Develop health, fitness and stress reduction skills relevant to emergency service careers.

Program Length

2 academic years (periods of 8 months)

Fast Track allows students to complete a two-year Diploma program (non co-op) in 16 months. Students will start in January and be in school for four continuous semesters: Winter, Spring/Summer, Fall and Winter. Students will not be off during the summer.

Co-op option - Not available with Fast Track. Optional after semester one.
