The Faculty of Built Environment and Surveying is committed to making a significant and positive impact on the country by combining academic strength with industry partnerships which are at the forefront of dealing with some of the major issues facing the nation today. Sustainability and integrated practice continue to define our teaching and research excellence. With a staff of 174 academics, 97 supporting staff and our excellence in real world teaching, research and consultancy service, the faculty aspires to be a destination of choice for high quality academics.

FGHT offers Master of Philosophy programmes with seven fields of specializations. The programmes are carried out in full time and part time basis. The full time basis will take 4 semesters and the part time basis will take about 8 semesters to graduate. Students enroll in this programme is compulsory to appoint at least one supervisor (academic staff from FGRE). Students are allowed to appoint co supervisors. Students are also required to take course on Research Methodology and 3 credits University Course.

Applicants must have a bachelor degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or other qualifications equivalent to a bachelor degree and experience in the related field recognized by the senate. English Language Requirements: IELTS ? Band 6.0; TOEFL ? 550; TOEFL (IBT) ? 79ELS CIEP LEVEL 108 & 109.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): The minimum scores of 550 or TOEFL IBT 79

International English Language Testing System (IELTS): The minimum scores of 6.0

ELS Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP): Completion of ELS Certified Intensive English Programme (CIEP) Level 107 or higher

Common European Framework of Reference for Language (CEFR): The minimum scale of B2
