The Master of Science program is a graduate program by research. Candidates are required to register for several courses and conduct an independent research project.
This field covers visitor behavior, utilization of natural resources and management of visitors and resource facilities (parks). Related sub-fields are: Communication and Public Relations in Ecotourism, Ecotourism Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Ecotourism Services And Facilities, Tourism Ecological Economics, Tourism Public Governance, Wildlife Value Orientation and Tourism, Creative Economics, Events Programming and Leadership, Impact Of Physical Resources, Therapeutic Recreation, Heritage Tourism, Resource Interpretation, Recreation and Tourism Planning, Rural and Community-Based Tourism, Recreation Risk Management, Management of Protected Ecotourism Sites, Urban Parks Management.

Bachelor’s degree recognized by UPM in forestry or related fields with a minimum CGPA 2.75 or equivalent; or
CGPA 2.50 to 2.74 may be considered provided candidate has at least 3 years of working experience.
For applicants with one of the following
550 for the TOEFL Paper-based Test (Academic Version); or
Band 6.0 for IELTS (Academic Training); or
79-80 for TOEFL Internet-based Test (Academic Version); or
Level 109 for CIEP at ELS Language Centre; or
Any English Language Test which is equivalent to B2 in Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
