Be the Brains that Controls the 4th Generation-Connected Factory

When a factory is transformed into an automated facility, there are instruments, or sensors. These sensors feedback data to control rooms where the readings are processed, analysed and then used to define the next course of action in the facility. Students who finish this course will be trained for the wide range of activities required by this role.

• Perform measurements on electrical and electronic equipment
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Identify, control, calibrate, and repair control devices
• Describe the operation and functions of a DCS
• Operate and manage a PLC

This programme is also registed as a university-foundation course.Upon completion of this programme, students are eligible to enter the first year of a UK degree or it's equivalent. At Auston Institute, these are the higher diploma courses.
