Offering a balance of theory and practice, our Art and Design BA (Hons) ensures you develop a range of visual and creative skills while you gain insights into critical theory, the importance of context and contemporary professional practice. It is ideal if you would like a career in community arts, public projects or art and design education. If you are unsure of your specialist field, it gives you the opportunity to experience a number of creative pathways.**Professional Practice Year**This course has the option to be taken over four years which includes a year placement in industry. Undertaking a year in industry has many benefits; you gain practical experience and build your CV. It's also a great opportunity to sample a profession and network with potential future employers.
