Edexcel BTEC Level 4 HNC (QCF) - 120 credits – Business or Computing and Sytems Development – for those wanting career progression and professional development. It is a 120 credit programme made up of 12 units equivalent to the first year at university. The HNC adheres to normal BTEC guidelines with continuous assessment throughout the course in the form of assignments. So any ‘homework’ issued is assessed, graded and counts towards your final overall grade. Results are known well before you even sit you’re a level subjects!

The College considers applications from aspiring adult learners who have the commitment and maturity required to complete a BTEC Level 5 programme in a shorter study time than is the norm and who wish to gain a fast track and secure route into the third year at university. Experiencing university of rthe first time in the third year is noit for the faint hearted and those with a BTEC HND will quickly need to integrate and choose a dissertation topic to focus on for the honours part of the degree. It is at this stage that the project completed at HND will come to the fore and be a valuable tool to help formulate the design, evaluation and implementation of your dissertation to the satisfaction of your personal tutor.
