Intro

Data Analysts examine, manage and interpret data to provide valuable business insight. Our Data Analyst CertHE is aimed at people wishing to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to begin a career in data science. You could be just starting out or maybe thinking about a career change, or to further develop your skills.

This course, which can be studied full- or part-time, is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ). HTQs are approved against occupational standards decided by employers, so you can be sure that what you are learning is relevant to industry.

Exciting project work, case studies and lecturers from industry bring learning to life. You'll graduate with programming skills and experience across a variety of industry-standard software. You'll be confident to apply your knowledge and statistical skills working individually or in a team, and have the ability to communicate your ideas effectively taking into account the audience needs. And you’ll develop transferrable skills that employers are looking for including research and evaluation, organisation and team-working.

You'll take six modules during the course exploring subjects from databases and data analysis to programming and operational research.
