Foundation Certificate for Business, Law and Social Sciences

For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Nottingham Trent University. Your course length is determined mainly by your English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent).

All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If your course is longer than 2 terms, you’ll take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

Once you progress to your degree, the University will support you in continuing to work on your employability. Not only does Nottingham Trent University offer a work placement opportunity on many of its degrees, but you’ll also learn valuable practical skills in your classes too, for example with special projects like The Grand Challenge.
