The course focuses on adult patients with a diverse range of health and dependency needs, including physical and emotional care requirements, and addresses in particular the needs of the ageing population.
The BSc (Hons) Nursing (Adult) is awarded by BPP University.
The course aims to produce excellent nurses, who are fit for practice and able to meet the key needs of all patient groups. Students will experience an integrated academic and professional training environment structured to enable you to gain the knowledge, understanding, and skills to pursue and sustain a career in contemporary nursing practice.
During the initial stages of the course, you will be given more direction and assistance to help you move from being a learner who is dependent, to an autonomous, increasingly reflective and critical individual as your knowledge develops.
There is an expectation that, as you progress with your studies, you will become independent and self-directed, taking increasing responsibility for your own learning and professional development.
