The Cosmetology program allows students to earn an Associate of Applied Science degree with transferable credits to a college or university to pursue a bachelor degree and creating a foundation for entrepreneurial development.
Students in the Cosmetology program can also pursue a 45-credit-hour Cosmetology Operator Level 2 Certificate to also provide hair and nail care services. All Cosmetology courses will be taught in a new 3,800-square-foot full-service Learning Studio with 26 hair stations, 16 nail stations, and a dedicated esthetics room.
This AAS degree is a two-year degree plan designed for students who want to pursue a career in Cosmetology. The Cosmetology program prepares the students with the theory and basic skills to successfully pass the State Licensing Examination.
Students can use their degree to transfer to a four-year university and earn a Bachelor of Applied Arts & Sciences. It is a great opportunity for students who may want to enter the workforce as a Cosmetologist and further their education
