Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to: Describe the history, processes and current structure of electronic media, its ethical parameters, and the social and political effects of electronic and mass communication on an audience. Write effectively for a variety of platforms appropriate to the discipline. Gather, organize and analyze discipline-appropriate research and communicate information about it. Identify and analyze legal and ethical principles relating to media. Apply media technology, terminology and techniques to the design and creation of content for film, television, and electronic media.
