Certificate programs appeal to students who do not want to commit to the full financial mathematics master's degree program. Upon successful completion of five courses focused on a specific set of concepts, a student will earn a post-baccalaureate certificate in that area. The certificate programs are designed as mini-programs in focus areas. Thus, each includes the capstone applied research experience of Mathematics Clinic, MTH 541.

An international student seeking admission to any graduate program must have completed a minimum of 16 years of education, including the equivalent of a four-year bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
To be admitted to the Graduate School of Education and Health Sciences, applicants must have an undergraduate GPA of 2.75 or higher or a passing score on the GRE or MAT.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). A minimum score of 80 on the Internet-based (IB) test or 550 on the paper-based test is required for full admission.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for full admission.
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE). A minimum score of 60 is required for full admission.
