Your Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with Core Subjects EC-6 with a concentration in Early Childhood Education from the University of Houston-Clear Lake prepares you with skills needed to help cultivate healthy growth in children. With your Core Subjects EC-6 teacher certification, you’ll be well trained to teach in an elementary school classroom. Your coursework will include the study of child and adolescent development, instruction and assessment and language development for EC-6 content areas.
