The Master of Landscape Architecture and Urbanism program is a fundamentally progressive urban enterprise based on three defining principles: the equitable global growth of our urban centers, strong trans-disciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of urban landscape theory in research and in practice. Meanwhile, our Master of Architecture program is a launching pad for those who seek leadership roles in the fields of architecture, design, development, and construction.This newly created dual-degree program provides core knowledge in both architecture and landscape architecture, while also emphasizing their shared territories and concerns, and ultimately preparing students to engage with the full complexity of the contemporary metropolis. By bringing the Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Architecture degrees together, we embrace the integrative thinking that will address the challenges and opportunities set before designers of the twenty-first century.
