The program emphasizes that individuals and organizations must be ready to think and act quickly and effectively. Students are prepared to analyze and solve problems by synthesizing information, rethinking processes, enhancing collaboration, sculpting organizational culture and integrating interests of diverse stakeholders. An understanding of the systems and relationships among individuals, organizations and the environment is pivotal to success.
The program also focuses on a systems perspective, including aspects such as leadership, strategy, change, talent management, negotiation and relevant methodological and statistical techniques. Graduate students in organizational sciences work in managerial and leadership positions in every type of organization.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the US must hold degrees from institutions in compliance with their national standards.

Minimum scores for the M.A. program are:
Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0; or
TOEFL: 550 on paper-based or 80 on Internet-based; or
PTE Academic: 53
