Program Description
The study of philosophy develops many skills, such as critical thinking; clear written communication on complex topics; reasoning and argumentation; consideration of many perspectives on a single subject; and consideration of ethics and values in public and private spheres.

English language proficiency requirement: Applicants whose native language is not English are required to demonstrate their English proficiency by submitting one of the following.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Internet: minimum score of 79
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Computer: minimum score of 213
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Paper: minimum score of 550
The International English Language Testing System Exam (IELTS) is also accepted. A minimum band score of 6.5 is required for admissions consideration.
Duolingo English Exam minimum score of 95
Application deadline: April 1 for the fall semester and November 1 for the spring semester
