Carlisle College is a further education college based in Carlisle, Cumbria. There are approximately 5,500 students in the College each year, 1,100 of whom are full-time. College offers a range of higher and further education, and professional qualifications and community programmes. Starting from access courses to HNDs and qualifications from professions such as accounting, management and others specific to industry are offered. The academic structure comprises of seven curriculum areas, namely, Business and Computing, Construction, Engineering, Essential Skills, Hair & Beauty, Health, Care and Humanities, and Leisure & Tourism.
