This course provides you with knowledge and skills to enhance the quality of life and experience of occupants through design. You’ll undertake interior design projects in practical studio settings and participate in independent and collaborative problem solving. You’ll be taught by real-world practitioners with strong connections to local industry, who’ll share valuable insights and opportunities that’ll give you a competitive edge. Using the latest tools and technologies in our advanced design studios, you’ll learn to conceptualise, develop and present your designs with models, drawings and digital walk-throughs. You’ll work on projects independently and with students in other disciplines, just as you would in a real interior design practice. You’ll also complete up to 100 hours of real work placement, where you can build your portfolio and make valuable connections for your future career.
