Take an additional year of study to further the knowledge you’ve developed throughout your undergraduate psychology course.
A Bachelor of Psychology Honours will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the principles and practice of psychology. This course is a step on the pathway to becoming a registered psychologist.
Working closely with an academic, you’ll undertake an individual research project of your choice. You’ll also develop your research ability through coursework on psychological measurement and practice.
An Honours qualification of 2A (or suitable equivalent) is normally required for admission to postgraduate coursework and research degrees.

A three-year Bachelor's degree in Psychology accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council or Australian Psychological Society-approved alternative, completed within the last 10 years. Students with a relevant degree more than 10 years old may be required to complete additional units to satisfy specified course entry requirements. The Academic Chair will consider applications and recommend students for admission based on an assessment of the student's preparedness for this course, and on current teaching and supervision resources available to the School. Subject to exceptions on the basis of consideration by the Academic Chair, only students with a Distinction average or better in their undergraduate psychology units will be admitted.
