One of only four educational psychology courses in the country, our highly regarded Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) will prepare you to work as a registered psychologist supporting individuals with developmental and learning issues. The course will provide you with valuable skills in counselling, psychological assessment, research methods, intervention, group work, consultation and multidisciplinary team work.The Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) is for students who want to work in a range of educational settings upon graduation. These settings include being in schools as a psychologist, student counsellor or welfare coordinator. Or within agencies treating children with emotional and behavioural difficulties or aged care.You’ll be taught by a number of internationally recognised education experts. As well as strong leaders and educators, the course has also been built for practical application in the real world. You will be on placement from semester 1, giving you chance to apply your learnings in a real setting. Once you complete the course, you can take your learnings into a range of workplaces and make real impact.To date, all of our graduates gain employment by the start of the year after graduating.
