Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) is the most sort after technology trend in current situation. This course enables participants to understand the basics of IoT, its protocols, and its application areas. IoT has been applied in different domains like agriculture, space, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, water, mining, etc.IoT provides advanced data collection, connectivity, and analysis of information collected by computers everywhere – taking the concepts of machine-to-machine communication farther than ever before. The growing need for pervasive connectivity, storage, and computation has resulted in the growth of different IoT solutions. Therefore, it is very important to learn the fundamentals of this emerging technology. IoT is already a critical part of industry 4.0 and hence the participants must be able to understand other technologies that can be integrated along with it, so as to improve application efficiency. Proactiveness and creativity are the key attitudes expected from the participants.This course would equip the participants with a solid theoretical foundation and strong practical skills in the IoT Platform and System Design. The course is divided into twelve modules and will start with simple examples and will integrate the techniques using which participants can design and build an actual IoT system. The participants are expected to actively engage in discussions and work innovatively on assignments.
