Philosophy is the study of ideas. Concordia University of Edmonton’s Philosophy program stresses the fundamentals of philosophy by studying its history, and also pursues cutting-edge topics around ethics, philosophy of science, philosophy of religion, and others. As a student of philosophy, you will develop and refine exceptional reasoning skills, learn how to adapt and think beyond the ordinary.If you pursue this program, you can do so via a 3-year concentration or a 4-year major. Appropriate Secondary School Qualification. Graduation from a secondary high school program that would normally make you admissible to a university in your home country. Please check the qualifications by country list. Five program-specific admission subjects with a minimum overall admission average of 60%. English Language Arts. Four subjects from History, Languages other than English, Fine Arts, Sciences, and/or other subjects. A maximum of two Fine Arts courses and a maximum of one other subject may be used for admission. Concordia University of Edmonton recognizes course work completed in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.
