Religious Studies is the critical study of religion: its history, its ideas and principles, and its function in societies past and present. Students examine a variety of religions and perspectives from a non-denominational perspective. You’ll delve into the philosophies and writings of some of the most influential religious figures of all time study biblical languages and original texts investigate the roles of religion in modern society and analyze religious thought and expression in history, politics, literature, art and music.The Faculty of Arts boasts one of the most diverse Arts programs in Canada, offering top quality educational opportunities that prepare students for successful careers in every sector of society.
