Bachelor of Science with Honors in Physiology

The Physiology Honors degree provides an in-depth understanding of the way cells function and how tissues and organs work. This program has a strong focus on human physiology, with a wide range of courses is available for students with interests in particular branches of the life sciences, including cell and molecular biology, endocrinology, cardiovascular physiology, and neurobiology. The Bachelor of Science with Honors is a degree program designed for students to reach in-depth training in a specific subject area and are drawn to scientific research. A research thesis project is embedded in each program and students must maintain higher academic standards than those in a BSc Major degree. Students have the option to add a minor from the Faculty of Arts, Native Studies, Business or Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences, however doing so will reduce the amount of option courses.
