The MS in AI and Natural Language Processing prepares students to understand and improve the language technologies shaping our world. Designed for students interested in AI, language and computation, the program combines linguistic expertise with machine learning and computer science. Jointly offered by UB's Departments of Linguistics and Computer Science and Engineering, it emphasizes not just using AI tools, but understanding data, models and how language actually works to identify bias, diagnose errors and build better systems.
