Illinois Tech’s Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Master of Computer Science accelerated master's degree program allows students the opportunity to pursue advanced studies and complete both degrees in as few as five years. The undergraduate portion of the curriculum places an emphasis on both theory and practical applications of computer engineering. Students will be equipped with detailed knowledge of both hardware and software and be prepared to build and use complex information processing systems for a wide range of applications. The graduate portion of the curriculum for this degree provides advanced study in computer science. Students will be prepared for careers as working computer science professionals in business and industry. Specializations in business, software engineering, networking and telecommunications, and information systems are available. Students will be equipped with detailed knowledge of both hardware and software to build and use complex information processing systems for applications. They will also be prepared for careers as working computer science professionals in business and industry.
