The PhD in Curriculum Studies is an interdisciplinary degree that addresses overall curriculum issues across different subject matter. All three of our program options prepare you for careers as curriculum generalists, researchers and specialists university faculty and teacher educators K-20 curriculum and pedagogical leaders curriculum administrators, designers and evaluators curriculum material writers and educational leaders in social and cultural organizations.This interdisciplinary option provides flexibility for college instructors to take discipline electives while advancing curriculum, teaching and leadership expertise in higher education. You will be prepared for professional roles as an administrator and researcher in curriculum and pedagogy from various disciplines at the college level.This doctoral program requires a minimum of 63 credit hours, including common core, research and inquiry, specialization, cognate area and independent research. You can choose from three program options.
