The Business Cyber Security (BCS) graduate certificate program provides students with a fundamental understanding of the principles and practices of cyber security in business and organizational settings. The objective of this certificate program is to introduce students to tools, techniques, and methods that aid cyber security professionals to participate in the full spectrum of security program planning, including security policy development and planning for incident response, business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management. The certificate will also provide students with the skills required for the more applied practices of network security, application security, threat detection analysis, prevention, and remediation.

To be considered for regular admission to the Graduate School, you must have at least one of the following grade point averages (GPAs), on a 4.0 scale
An overall 3.0 GPA.
A 3.0 GPA in any prior graduate program that you may have completed.
Transcripts using a different grading scale will be evaluated and converted to a 4.0 scale by the Graduate School.
You must upload a legible transcript or mark sheet for each college or university attended (including community colleges) at which you earned at least 15 semester hours of coursework. Your application will be evaluated based on these documents. University of Alabama transcripts do not need to be uploaded.
