The Master of Arts in Linguistics program at Southern Illinois University comprises 36 credit hours of coursework covering various linguistic subfields. Non-thesis track students have more flexibility in their advanced coursework, substituting thesis writing credits with additional courses at that level.The M.A. in Linguistics provides you with a comprehensive education in contemporary linguistics, covering diverse areas such as phonology, syntax, semantics, and sociolinguistics.
