To be eligible for the Professional Writing and Editing graduate program, applicants must submit three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and a writing sample, which should be an academic research paper of at least 8-10 pages, though applicants with writer or editor experience may also include their professional work. You must have a bachelor's degree from a properly recognized institution. The minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) is 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. Some programs have higher minimum GPA requirements.
