Students may begin their degree program in either the fall or winter quarter.UCR’s Master of Professional Accountancy program provides you with advanced professional accountancy education in auditing and assurance, taxation, cost and managerial accounting, accounting information systems, and ethics.Unlike other advanced accounting degrees, UCR’s MPAc degree is offered through two tracks.Track One: Candidates with a degree or major in accounting will take 48 units and typically complete the program in nine months.

The MPAc program is open to eligible students with an accounting background gained from undergraduate coursework, prior work experience, or a combination of both. We accept applicants with undergraduate degrees in business, accounting, economics and other related fields.
A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, or a recognized international equivalent. The degree must represent the completion of a program equivalent in subject matter and scholarship to that offered by the University of California.
A minimum of a 3.0 undergraduate GPA or B-equivalent (if GPA is not on a 4.0 scale) is required. It is important to note that some programs may have a higher standard for their GPA requirement, and you should consult with the program directly for further information.
