Graduates of the Master of Public Health in Epidemiology will be able to:
Utilize foundational public health concepts and core public health competencies (as outlined in MPH program accreditation standards) to meet public health challenges. [Goal 1]
Select epidemiologic methods and epidemiologic study designs appropriate to address research questions. [Goal 2]
Apply appropriate data analysis and management techniques to analyze epidemiologic data and present epidemiologic data in appropriate formats. [Goal 3]
Demonstrate the use of epidemiologic data to inform and evaluate health policies. [Goal 4]

Applicants to a University of Delaware graduate program must possess (or be in the final year of completing) a U.S. equivalent bachelor’s degree. The University requires an official paper-based TOEFL score of at least 550 or at least 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) for an applicant to be considered for admission. The University expects a minimum score of 18 on the Internet-based Speaking Test. TOEFL scores more than two years old cannot be validated or considered official. A band score of 6.5 is expected by the University.
