This program focuses on all aspects of curriculum, including the content, organization, social context and educational process of a school, college or other educational institution. You will study the theory, development, assessment, pedagogy, inquiry and history of curriculum while addressing issues of leadership, equity, access, advocacy and voice. Our graduates are prepared for a variety of roles as curriculum and pedagogical leaders, curriculum planners, curriculum administrators, curriculum consultants, professional development specialists, teacher leaders or teacher researchers.

In addition to the general requirements for admission to theOklahoma State University Graduate College, the Master ofScience in Teaching, Learning and Leadership requires: Undergraduate degree in education or related field (3.0 GPA) Resume/Vita Typewritten statement of goals consistent with mission of graduate degree program and degree program optionApplicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) 550 (paper based test) is required. Alternatively, an official IELTS, academic stream, examination with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 will satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to a graduate program.
