In this interdisciplinary program, you will learn to think about biology at the molecular and cellular level, and answer outstanding questions using biochemical, molecular, cellular and systems biology and computational approaches. You will also learn to program write a grant or fellowship application identify important and answerable scientific questions and give a scientific talk. Finally, you will carry out research in one of over 40 labs, choosing from topics such as aging, bioinformatics, bioengineering, cancer, cell signaling, development, evolution, gene expression, genome stability, heart disease, the origins of life, neurological disorders, synthetic biology and systems biology.
