Power to Achieve Scholarship: At Ontario Power Generation (OPG), our power is changing the world as we strive to electrify life in one generation. As the province’s largest clean power generator, OPG operates one of North America’s most diverse generating fleets. OPG is thrilled to partner with Algonquin College to support students who are interested in building a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow. Successful recipients will also be eligible for priority consideration for student placements at OPG, to help support your educational journey. The Financial Aid and Students Awards Office will annually award scholarships to two (2) students, in level 3 or higher, studying full-time at either Ottawa or Pembroke campus, based on academic merit. Preference will be given to Indigenous students, women, racialized students, students with disabilities. Eligible recipients must be studying one of the following programs: Applied Nuclear Science and Radiation Safety Bachelor of Commerce (Supply Chain Management) Bachelor of Engineering (Automation and Robotics) - any Bachelor of Information Technology – Networking Technology Bachelor of Science (Building Science) - any Bachelor of Technology Biotechnology - Advanced Civil Engineering Technology Computer Engineering Technology – Computing Science Computer Systems Technology – Security Construction Engineering Technician Electrical Engineering Technician Electrical Engineering Technology Electromechanical Engineering Technician Manufacturing Engineering Technician Mechanical Engineering Technology Powerline Technician
