The scholarship provides:

• the full cost of tuition fees
• £10,000 in payments given directly to you for accommodation, study and living costs
• Up to £3,500 towards the cost of your travel to the UK, Visa and NHS surcharge (for healthcare)
• 12 months of accommodation beginning in September 2026
• Full membership to The Edge, the University’s gym and sports centre.

Check if you are eligible to apply

To apply for this scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria. You must:

• have been a citizen of Gaza before the escalation of the conflict in October 2023
• be currently living outside of Gaza and not in the UK
• have already applied to study a course at the University of Leeds
• possess a valid travel document (normally a passport) accepted by UKVI for the purposes of applying for a student visa
• have safe access to a UK Visa processing centre in the country you are currently living in.
