The Islam Fund supports the study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations at University of Birmingham. This award supports MA Islamic Studies students by covering up to 100% of their tuition fees (at home or international rates).

Who can apply?

• This award is open to Home and Overseas MA Islamic Studies students, who will commence their study at the start of the 2026 academic year.
• These awards are not available to current Masters students.
• Applications for funding can only be considered alongside an application to study the MA Islamic Studies programme.
• Applicants should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence following their studies.
• This award cannot be held in conjunction with any other scholarship (including partnership scholarships).

Students of any nationality can apply for the scholarship. This means that all students can apply whether they're classed as Home or International for tuition fee purposes.
