Postgraduate High Fliers Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• You must apply for and receive an offer to study a taught Masters degree at the University of Birmingham (UK campus) starting in September 2026.
• You must be domiciled in one of the selected countries listed below.
• You must be classified as an overseas fee payer for tuition purposes by the University.
• You must start your studies in September 2026 on a full-time programme delivered at the University’s UK campus.
• Students in receipt of a full or partial tuition fee scholarship from an external organisation are not eligible. If the University becomes aware that a student is sponsored by a third-party organisation (i.e. an organisation is providing a full or partial scholarship covering tuition fees), the student will be disqualified from receiving the Postgraduate High Fliers Scholarship. If the scholarship has already been awarded, it will be withdrawn. Please ensure you accurately declare your funding source during enrolment.

Eligible countries

Open to all nationalities but must be living in (domiciled) one of the following countries:

Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cameroon, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Senegal, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Trinidad & Tobago, Turkey, Uganda, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
