UWE Cares PG Bursary

You are eligible to apply if you fit into the below criteria:

• You were registered with UWE Cares at the completion of your undergraduate course.
• You have graduated from a UWE Bristol undergraduate course or are due to graduate in the current academic year.
• You start your postgraduate course in September 2026.

If you were registered as a student carer, you will need to supply UWE Cares with current evidence of your caring role. If you were registered as estranged, you will need to be under 25 at the start of your PG course.

The following courses are excluded from the scholarship:

Doctor of Biomedical Science

Doctor of Counselling Psychology

Doctor of Health Psychology

MRes Applied Sciences

MRes Health and Care Research

MRes Social Research (Sustainable Futures)

LLM and PGDip Bar Training Course

LLM and PGDip Solicitors Training Course

Education courses, including some PGCEs

Online courses and distance learning

Degree Apprenticeships

Postgraduate Certificates (PGDip)
