Widening participation
This bursary is open to applicants who are applying to an undergraduate programme in the Department of Materials at Imperial College London and who meet the College’s criteria for Widening Participation, which may include factors such as socio-economic background, school context, care experience, or other indicators of underrepresentation in higher education, and applications are strongly encouraged from students who have overcome barriers to education and demonstrate the potential to succeed in a university environment.

There is no separate application form for this bursary, as all eligible applicants will be automatically considered by the Department’s Admissions Tutor during the standard admissions process; if shortlisted, candidates will be contacted in late March or early April and invited to provide additional information to support their application.
