Edith Cowan University (ECU) was established in 1991 when a union of teachers came together to form Western Australia’s first higher education institution. ECU has received a five-star rating for teaching quality for a number of years from the Good Universities Guide and provides a great learning environment for students to realise their potential. The university’s campus in Colombo is one of the only universities in Sri Lanka where students can obtain an international degree. Students can choose to study their qualification in Sri Lanka or transition from first-year studies to second year in Australia. ECU’s courses are developed in close collaboration with industry to give students the benefit of best practices and hands-on learning that will enable them to excel in their studies and future careers.
