Skyline College opened in 1969 as part of the San Mateo County Community College District. Located on an 111-acre site overlooking the Pacific Ocean just south of San Francisco, Skyline College offers a number of accredited associate degrees and certificate courses. The College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Courses are offered in 17-wwek semester formats. Subjects offered include - Accounting, Justice, Art, Asian Studies, Automotive Technology, Communication Studies, English, Geology and History.
