In this major, you’ll gain an essential understanding of business operations including organisational behaviour and managing workplace relations. You’ll also learn practical skills in areas like data analytics, data collection, strategic planning and project management. The aim of this major is not to make you an instant expert it’s to give you the confidence to ask intelligent questions so you will be able to get the answers you need for successful administrative work in any industry or workplace.The Bachelor of Design/Bachelor of Business equips students with the knowledge and skills essential for a career that encompasses the challenging and dynamic area of design and business sectors. By undertaking this double degree, graduates will be able to capitalise on opportunities in both the design and business professions. Work Integrated Learning is a guaranteed part of all our bachelor degrees. This double degree has two units where you’ll have the opportunity to work on industry-linked projects. In the Design Capstone Project, you’ll work on an industry-linked project relevant to your design major, and in Industry Consulting Project (BSB3009), you’ll work in teams to solve a business problem briefed to you by our industry partners.
