Architects create our modern world, shaping everything from urban skylines to stately houses and everything in between. The UTS Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Architecture has been carefully created to provide you with insight into this fascinating and essential discipline while also allowing a pathway to further studies in the Master of Architecture.
Along with your undergraduate qualification, you'll get the chance to choose one of our four Honours streams, focusing on either research, landscape studies, or architectural studies in your future discipline. Together, this will ensure you have what it takes to complete postgraduate qualifications and become a practising architect or pursue further academic excellence through a PhD.
This dynamic one-year program is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in architecture, landscape architecture, or interior architecture who are ready to take their expertise to the next level. You’ll dive into one of four specialised streams, each offering a distinct focus and an exciting selection of subjects tailored to your interests.

Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline at an appropriate level.
Applicants with a degree which is equivalent to the UTS Bachelor of Design in Architecture or UTS Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture or UTS Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) and who have attained a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.00 or above must provide the following additional material in order to be considered for a place in the Bachelor of Design (Honours) in Architecture:
