Bachelor of Journalism/ Bachelor of Laws

Bond University

Bond's accelerated three-semester-per-year timetable makes it easy to tackle a double degree. In fact, you can complete two degrees here in less time than you could graduate with just one at most other universities. Bond's Bachelor of Journalism / Bachelor of Laws combination, for instance, can be done in 4 years (12 semesters) whereas it can take up to 4 years to complete a single Law degree elsewhere. The combination of Journalism and Law will help you develop a multi-layered skillset that will make you stand out to employers in almost any industry or work setting. You will develop written and oral communication, and you will gain a thorough and up-to-the-minute understanding of digital platforms, social media, mainstream, and new media. The Bachelor of Laws is an approved degree for the purpose of admission to legal practice. Studying these two in-demand degrees concurrently also represents a significant cost saving compared to studying the two degrees separately.
