Notre Dame recognises the skills and knowledge already gained by Enrolled Nurses (EN) in their previous studies and clinical practice in Australia. We offer a pathway for Enrolled Nurses to gain advanced standing for the Bachelor of Nursing and complete the degree in a reduced timeframe.
The EN articulation pathway is a streamlined option that allows you to begin the Bachelor of Nursing in second year, completing the qualification in two years of full-time study. You can also take advantage of flexible study options so you can continue to work while studying.
You’ll benefit from a dedicated orientation for Enrolled Nurses (EN Primer Week), which will prepare you for university study. Upon graduation, you’ll be eligible to apply to become a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
To apply for this pathway, simply add details of your qualifications during the Bachelor of Nursing application process.

Successful completion (within previous 6 years) of a Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115 or HLT54121), accredited by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC), qualifying as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2).
