This course gives you a strong foundation in fashion design principles, trend forecasting, textiles selection, patternmaking, and garment production. You'll also explore the commercial aspects of the industry, marketing and retail operations - ensuring you graduate with a well-rounded skill set that's highly sought after by employers.

Our graduates have gone on to create or work for a host of successful labels including LSKD, Billabong, Marc Jacobs, Easton Pearson and Black Milk Clothing.

Successful completion of this course will give you the necessary skills and attributes to seek employment as a fashion designer and stylist, dressmaker, machinist, tailor, fashion accessories designer and fashion retailer. Completion also provides great articulation opportunities into higher education courses.
