The HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing is a nationally recognised qualification that equips individuals with the skills and knowledge required to work as an Enrolled Nurse in various healthcare settings. This comprehensive program covers essential nursing practices, including patient care, medication administration, wound management, and infection control. It combines theoretical learning with practical experience, preparing graduates to provide high-quality care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses or other healthcare professionals.

During Clinical Work Placement, you will be able to practice your skills and knowledge in real workplace settings. This will assist you to be job-ready> at graduation. Stanley College has entered into Clinical Work Placement agreements with a number of employers.

The Clinical Work Placement is organised by Stanley College’s Employment Liaison Team in consultation with students. Before commencement of Clinical Work Placement, students are also required to provide:

• National Police Certificate^, must be less than 6 months’ old
• WA Department of Health Criminal History Record Check
• Evidence of Current Vaccinations#
• Evidence of COVID-19 Vaccination
• Medical Clearance may also be required
